Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford is one of 31 college quarterbacks named to the preseason watch list for the Davey O’Brien award. The O’Brien trophy is awarded annually to the nations top quarterback.

Sam Bradford looking freaky
Bradford led the nation in passing efficiancy while leading the Sooners to the BIG XII title last season. He threw for 3,121 yards, completing 69 percent of his passes and throwing 36 touchdown passes, breaking the national freshman record.
Apparently being one of only three players in the nation to throw for 2,800 yards and rush for 800 wasn’t enough to get Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson on the list alongside Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen, Rice’s Chase Clement. USC’s Mark Sanchez and Florida State’s Drew Wearherford just to name a few.
Just for fun, let’s compare Robinson’s 2008 stats to these four signal callers
Robinson 201-333 2,824 yds 23 TD’s 9 INT’s, 140 carries for 847 yards and 9 TD’s, 5 sacks
Clausen 138-245 1,254 yds 7 TD’s 6 INT’s, 62 carries for -187 yards and 2 TD’s, 34 sacks
Clement who cares he plays for Rice
Sanchez 69-114 695 yds 7 TD’s 5 INT’s, 14 carries for 22 yards and 0 TD’s, 4 sacks,
Weatherford 181-318 2049 yds 9 TD’s 3 INT’s, 62 carries for 122 yards and 3 TD’s, 17 sacks
Ok, so that wasn’t very much fun, it was actually kind of tedious, but you get the point. Those guys suck, Robinson doesn’t, he should be on the list.
